Surbiton Area Guide
Welcome to Surbiton, a great place to live having excellent commuter links, an abundance of attractive Victorian architecture mixed with many contemporary style developments within leafy residential streets and has an energetic, cosmopolitan vibe. Surbiton is a suburban area of London in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames next to the River Thames with lovely promenade walks in to Kingston town centre.
Commuters can reach Central London (Waterloo) in about 17 minutes on a fast train. Both Heathrow and Gatwick airports are easily accessible by car within 35 minutes. This has made Surbiton a convenient location from which to commute into Central London, this is hugely reflected in its appeal from people working in London.
There are many restaurants, shops, bars and supermarkets; Waitrose, M & S, Costa, Starbucks, Zizzi’s, and Pizza Express, serving the town centre as well as many private health clubs; Nuffield, YMCA, Virgin Active and Collets.
